Frequently Asked Questions
What level do I need to be to join the ACE?
We recommend a minimum standard of grade 2 AMEB or above to ensure students get the most enjoyment out of their experience. That being said we welcome anyone who wants to give it a go!
What if I’ve never played in an ensemble before?
Don’t stress! The Coffs Con Adult Chamber Ensemble is designed to be an encouraging and fun experience for all involved.
What if I can’t make every rehearsal?
We understand that we all have commitments and that things change. While students are encouraged to make a commitment to weekly rehearsals, we understand life happens and are always working with students to make sure we can fit in with busy schedules and commitments.
Also, make sure you check our other ensembles. We have many options for Coffs Harbour musicians of all ages who would like to join a band (including our guitar ensembles, Coffs Con Stage Band, The Academy, etc).
