Emergency contact details
It is imperative that parents/caregivers ensure that the Conservatorium has an up to date emergency telephone number and contact person. If at anytime you change any of your details on this form, especially contact details, please notify our administration.
The care and protection of students is a priority of the Conservatorium. In cases of minor accident or sickness, parents/caregivers will be asked to attend to their child. If the accident or emergency is serious, an ambulance will be called and the parents/caregivers advised.
Terms and conditions of enrolment
1. All students are required to pay an Annual Registration Fee of $50 every calendar year.
2. Fees for all Group, Shared Lessons, Special Course & Ensembles are payable in full in the first week of term.
3. No refunds are available for lessons missed by a student undertaking shared, Early Childhood Music, Ensembles, Group lessons or lessons missed by a student on a scholarship or bursary unless the Conservatorium cancels these lessons.
4. Individual lessons can be paid by the term or weekly, provided they are kept up to date.
5. The Conservatorium may cancel lessons if fees are more than 2 weeks in arrears.
6. Lessons missed by the teacher will be credited to the student’s account.
7. Lessons missed by the student must be paid in full. No refunds will be given for failure to attend lesson/s.
8. Where exceptional circumstances prevent the student attending, such as an illness, a make up lesson may be provided where possible. This is limited to 1 lesson per term.
9. If you wish to discontinue lessons, at least 24 hours notice is required.
10. For reasons of safety and duty of care, children must not be left unattended outside the Conservatorium premises before or after lessons. Foot covering must be worn at all times.
11. No student shall present themselves at the Conservatorium under the influence of alcohol or other drugs. If a student is deemed by a staff member to be under the influence of alcohol or other drugs, the staff member may cancel the lesson and no refund will be given.
